KidShine Performing Arts Day Camp

An incredibly awesome outreach of the Equipping to Praise ministry is the annual Performing Arts Day Camp presented by KidShine of Asheville, NC. This is by far one of the most exciting opportunities that children can experience during the Summer months. Camp is open to children who have completed the second thru sixth grades. This one week camp begins at 9:00 each morning and, believe it or not, children usually have to be "forced" to leave (against their will) at 3:00 in the afternoon. The entire week is filled with non stop action. Children are given the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of performing arts. Singing, playing instruments, dance, drama, acting, set construction and painting along with many other surprises. The great thing is that everything is done with an emphasis of praise and worship and evangelistic outreach. The week comes to an end with a fantastic presentation of a program on Friday night at 7:00 for family and friends to enjoy.

Date: July 20-24, 2009
Time: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Ages: Any child who has completed second grade thru sixth grade.
Cost: $80.00 per child
(There is a $25.00 discount for the second or third child in each family. Scholarship funds are available.)

Friday Night Performance: 7:00 pm
Lunch: Campers need to bring a bag lunch each day.
We provide: Camp T-Shirt and a mid morning snack each day.

You may register by completing and submitting the form below. Checks should be made payable to Western Avenue Baptist Church and should be mailed or delivered to the church office. There is space for a limited number of campers, therefore registration is guaranteed only upon the receipt of payment.

Camp t-shirts will be pre-ordered based on the shirt sizes submitted in the forms.

Please understand that t-shirts may not be available for campers that are enrolled after JULY 15!
